Snuko UK Ltd, a 100% owned subsidiary of Snuko Plc today announced its launch of its Mobile Security application for Android supported smartphones.

The Android mobile platform – backed by Google and now being used by major mobile phone manufactures such as Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, Dell, LG and several other top brands – is the fastest growing mobile phone platform on the market today and has in 2010 captured 25 % of the smart phone market globally. Its expected that Android will grow twice this growth in 2011, surpassing all its other competitors in the market, according to tech analyst Canalys.

Snuko realized in the early stages that Android would become the fastest growing mobile phone platform used by the main mobile manufactures around the world. Based on Snuko’s research and analysis the company decided to put its efforts towards the Android platform which it is very proud to release today to the public. The first release is a Beta version which will allow anyone with an Android supported phone to download the software for free during the Beta period.

Wipe any calls made or received on your device remotely from your online account for full privacy.

Data recovery

Recover your contact list, pictures and files from the device, which will be made available through your online account for download.

Notification on SIM change

If someone tries to change the SIM card, you will be notified of the new SIM card and phone number (if available) being used with the phone when you visit your online account

Lock Phone & Display message

Remotely lock the Phone and display a message to the finder or thief for effortless and easy retrieval
