Superphones 2012

So what is in store for smartphone users in 2012?

Well 2011 has seen Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich, a new iPhone launched (even if it was not the iPhone 5 as hoped), BlackBerry (RIM) fail massively with an outage and Nokia launching their very first Windows smartphone.

But from what we are reading already here at Snuko HQ it appears that 2012 is going to bring some very exciting advances in smartphone technology which is being hailed as the era of the ‘superphone’.

Without getting too technical many of the current smartphones use a powerful Cortex A7 and A8 processor which has led to 3G and amazing features and more recently the introduction of the Cortex A9 meant even more power and data.

In 2012 we can look forward to the new superfast and even more powerful processors allowing for even more data and bandwidth being used via our phones. It is expected that we will see devices running with Cortex A15 processors meaning the birth of the first ‘superphones’.

So make sure you get used to a new word in 2012, its out with the smartphone and in with the superphone.

With all this power it means we will store even more personal information on these devices so get anti-theft NOW and protect your online identity.
